Gull Snared with Fishing Lure

As humans, we have such a severe impact on everything around us. Something as innocent as fishing can cause incredible damage to the wildlife on occasion, and that is the case with this Gull. This poor little guy was found with one end of a lure stuck in its lower bill and the other in his left wing. There is no way he could survive like this, so something had to be done! Luckily for him, Sacred Friends was available to lend a helping hand!

Pearl did the rescue, capturing the terrified bird and taking him to Midway Vet where Dr. Poutous was able to remove the lore. This little guy has now been transferred to Karen Roberts for it's aftercare and will be as good as new in no time!
